For those who watch Law and Order:SVU what do you think about the characters Elliot and Olivia hooking up, even if it is just a one time thing?

I don't think it should happen. As you saw at the end of last season they are already to close to each other. If they hooked up it would make it that much harder for them to be partners. Plus most of the time when characters hook up on shows the show goes down hill.

I do love Law and Order SVU. I would like Elliot and Olivia to get together, but like some other people said, it would ruin the show. Maybe if they just stay really good friends and don't hook up with anyone else, that would be good enough for me.

I thought it was a great episode but it was complete bull$h!t. There is no way in real life that the mother would've been charged with anything in the baby's death. BTW: Hearts has a good example and debate. What if a vaccination caused the death of a child? No one would be charged either as it was a possible side-effect and the risk the parent chose to take when vaccinating their child. Civil suit? Maybe, but a murder charge, no way.

I think in a sense it would be a hot hook up, but I think it would ruin their working relationship, and inevitably ruin the show...But I recently read that the writer or director of the Law and Orders is planning on replacing all of the lead actors in all of the shows!!

I love the show cant wait to the fall.. um they could hook up but then i think it will tear apart their friendship so i dont think they should if someone found out the captain would be majorly pissed.

Noooooooo!!!! One of the things I loved about the show was to see their partnership develop into a true "trust you with my life" one without the expected romantic development. Even though both are outrageously hot.

I really hope not, because then things would get awkward and complicated, and then one has to leave for good. That would pretty much end the show.

I think they have a great relationship now--many times you screw up a great friendship by sleeping together.
