My stratregy is to study in short periods of time. Like I will tell set one hour to study a certain subject, then at the end of the hour, stop and take a break before continuing. Also, don't study two subjects close together because the information could overlap. Find a quiet place and work until you get it.

I used to go to a private room in the library that you have to book ahead of time. I would bring nothing in with me but my books, so there was no distractions, that way I didn't have a choice.

At one point, I also hired a "baby-sitter" of sorts. I would bribe a friend with my famous Enchiladas, and say, All you have to do is sit on the couckh and watch my tv and eat. If you see me stop writing my research paper, Nag t he crap out of me until I continue! It worked. I now have my BA.

For me, it was always easier if I study at the school library. If I studied at home I'd always want to watch TV or answer the phone if it answer. Also try bringing some snacks with you help you stay energized.

Constantly make a list of priorites... if studies are on the top of the priority list, then LOGICALLY, you should do studying BEFORE doing anything else.
