I heard it was a bandana that you placed in your back pocket, the color signified what you wanted to do after leaving the club, is this true?

Ignore the trolls. Yes, a number of years ago, there was something of a handkerchief code, where the particular colour representated what one's interests were, usually on the level of kink. The pocket chosen also indicated orientation, which I'm sure referred to top/bottom, but there may have been a gay/straight system as well. However, as the Internet started to become the media of choice for those alternative lifestyles, the handkerchief code pretty much faded away.
