Self Control is being able to control one's self to do things that they should or should not. An anorexic practices self control not to eat because they feel they shouldn't. A politician has to make the choice on the lesser of two evils despite the fact that he would prefer one choice over another. Doing what is ethical despite a fear is self control.

playing or completing an important task? If you have self control, you will do the important task first no matter how badly you want to goof off.
