using too many products formulatted with mineral oil, animal products or byproducts certainly is. The problem with using these as ingredients is that your skin is not absorbing it and it stays on the top making your pores clog and maybe seeing a temporry, it is like putting celophane paper on your skin and putting the lotions or cremes on it.... also, mineral oil is the 2nd worse thing you could do to your skin, it would be like rubbing car oil on it and exposing yourself to the sun, the sun is #1 and it is the 90% of lines on your skin.... Avoid animal products because these do no get absorbed by our skin and they come from dead animals from the road, meatmarkets etc., you see there are these rendering plants (recycle for animals) that they pick all the dead animals and they put them in a huge pot, squash everything inside, boil it and what comes to the top is what companies use to formulate their "beauty" products... gross i know... the lipsticks, lip balms, eww ... anyway, use botanically based products for everything, skin care, makeup, body care, aromatherapy, i use arbonne products and they work just great, thier makeup are vegetale, their skin care roducts are amazing only from plants no chemicals, nature, and their antiaging line is just awesomw, they are so convinced you will like their line that they have a 45 money back guarantee if you are not satisfied w/ their products you return and they give you $ back, that is why i startec to use them, because no other line does this, not estee lauder, lancome, none of them and well i had nothing to loose just the curiosity.. so i buy them online at: http://arbonnepuertorico.myarbonne.com under shop online and i receive my products in my house with nobody bothering me nor pushing me to buy.... if i need help i can call a consultant but it would be up to you... anyway try them they are really great .....

Hmmmmm I wonder why you are getting break outs? could it be that you are clogging up your pours with all this stuff. You know lotions make dirt cling to your face and in turn creates acne. You need one good moisturizer at night while you are sleeping and wont be exposed to outside dirt. In the morning go very light with your moisturizer if any. Your night treatment should be enough. Clean=less acne. Your skin should have enough natural oils at your age. Try not to use too much of anything. Use your face wash when you get home for the day right away. Let your face be natural for the greater part of the day while you are at home. Do not use it too often it will dry out your skin. No extreme is good. The major cause of acne is dirt. Less=more. Best wishes

The combination of so many chemicals used to create the products might be too harsh for your face. A general rule: use one product both day and night to remove build up and make up, use lotion during the day and at night if you have dry skin. If you're having breakouts, maybe seeing a dermatologist would be best. They can prescribe a mild face wash and treatment. Hope that helps!

It isn't a good idea to use products from so many different companies on your face because ever company makes each of their products to work well with the other products in their line. However, there's no such thing as using too many products of the same company on your face, as long as it's not irritating your skin.

I use the Miracle Set (combination to oily) by Mary Kay. The set will give you younger looking skin, fewer lines, improved firmness, and even skin tone. It's very gentle and will not irritate your face. http://www.marykay.com/adina_k/skincare/antiaging/miracleset_combinationtooily/default.aspx

Then, you should throw in the Blemish Control Toner 3, which is an acne medication that leaves your skin free of excess oil. http://www.marykay.com/adina_k/skincare/classicbasicskincare/10106500/10106500/default.aspx

The last thing is the Acne Treatment Gel. It will dry and clear blemishes, and allows skin to heal without irritation.

Just be sure to always properly moisturize, even while breaking out. If you don't, your skin will start to produce extra oils to compensate and you'll just break out more.
You can start with what's written above, but I also strongly recommend TimeWise® Even Complexion Essence. It really evens out your natural tone and reverses skin discoloration.

I have like 5 different facewashs, and 4 different shampoos and a million lotions I switch between them everyday and I've never had a problem with breakouts or anything. I think its good to do, because if you use one product too much, like a facewash, I noticed that the product becomes less effective.. its as if you get too used to it.

Stick with one brand that has a day and night brand. My favorite is oil of olay. They have a day cream and night cream. You can use the same cleanser in the day and night time. But, if you are using two different brands, you should stop. There are too many different ingredients in those brand. Stick with one brand.
If oil of olay isn't your thing, then use neutragena. That will help you in the day and night and control all of your breakouts.
