Most medieval coins weren't dated the way we do now, almost all dates were Regnal years, from which you can figure out the date. About the earliest date coin like we have know started in the 1300's, so if it is dated 1000 then it is most likely a fantasy piece. The only exception would be if it was Islamic, in which case the year 1000 would be approximately 1600 AD, so it is possible.

I would pay evenmore if the coin was markedd BC!

I'd make a cheap copy of it and sell it on Ebay.
