Depends on the jurisdction you live in and what age you were when you committed the crime. If you were a juvenile it should be sealed at age 18. If you were an adult it will probably never come off your record (it's not exactly a traffic ticket) unless you have it expunged which is pretty difficult. Check with your local police or court system.

why would it come off your record at all? unless that was part of some deal you made? your record is called your record for a reason, because it gives whoever might be looking a 'record' of the things you've done in the past. perhaps you shouldn't harrass people if you would like to not have that showing up in your record.

Convictions stay on your criminal record permanently.

10 or 20 years down the road, will someone look at a harassment conviction and think less of you? Probably not. You and they can simply write it off to an inescretion of youth.

I think it depends how old you were when committed. If you were juvinile it will stay on your record but will be unvisible to public and employers. If you were over 18 you must get a pardon otherwise it will stay on forever. Also even with a pardon crown or district attorneys will still see it on your record if accused of another crime.

Forever. Unless you hire an attorney to do what they call expungement. It removes something from your record, but it is at the discretion of the judge. Don't do illegal things if you don't want them on your record.

Criminal records are permanent and maintained at the sheriff's office in the county of your arrest.

However, this is only true if you were arrested as an adult
