Interesting, I didn't think most of U would agree. I'm gonna tell whatever her name is that I've also lived in many different countries and the US is far from being the best of them, I strongly prefer Europe for a bunch of reasons but let's not go somewhere else. US land of the free? Fun fun, France is a free country and more than the US I say, Holland, Germany are free countries but they don't claim being THE land of the free or "Proud to be European..." Common, wake up people go riot in the streets if your country is so free!

Where in the HeII do you get your information. I really want to know who would be stupid enough to believe most of this. The only one that you got a correct fact on was "Schwarzy Governor" and he can be anything he wants just like you. Or would you rather be a society of people that can not do what they want . When you grow up and realize that it is not possible to be a tree hugger and make a real living then maybe you will come to your senses. Or at least move out so the rest of us that live in the real world can get by.

Here's a suggestion: Next time you are feeling like this, move to another country, After living there for a while, you will come back to ours and thank the heavens that it is your country. I have lived in many other countries, and though ours may not be perfect, it is, by far, the superior choice. Countries are made up of human beings. Human beings are flawed, therefore, no country is perfect. But, I guarantee you, ours is the best game going. For one, in how many other countries do you think you could post this kind of criticism about the government without being jailed or worse? Think about it.

I don't know it this will be the pride of American- they Americans aren't forced to study and learn very hard, for they accept great many immigrants from all over the world, including the very clever, the poor and others. So they can lead a slow life? this is only my shallow idea, haha. but your 12 reasons are all too negative...
I do dislike that lots of people regard the U.S as the country of freedom. there's no reason, i just don't want to such a terrible word.

remember, the very fact you have the freedom to ask this question tells you why you should be proud to be an American. Also, if you disagree with the way things are you have the power to incite change and bring it to the masses, if the people agree, change can occur. However, that does not require you to be proud of our elected officials when they use their power to fulfill their own personal agenda, those currently entrusted with power have betrayed the American people for their own end gain.

What abt other countries?
is their governments are the best?
I'm an Iranian,
except the glorious history, i don't like to stay here...
I'm so sick of the government who is reigning...
they cant (and also don't want to) keep the country stable,
too many ppl are living in poverty, without any war!!
by the way you have to know that iran is one of the most wealthy countries in the world.

You're forgetting that Americans are not the government.

There's good people (and bad, of course) in America. Our government may be nothing to be proud of, but that says nothing of the people. Keep "The State" and "The People" seperate. "Of the people, by the people" is just a myth.

One good thing is your right to post this kind of utter crap. In most other countries you'd be jailed or even tortured. Keep on abusing that First Amendment.
