Because the Brazilian Child's are just born with soccer
and Italia Just seem to be more a soccer country than france before there was the zidane generation france only had michel platini as starplayer
italia had more big players in their soccerhistory

Truth is that France has never developed the same caliber of players as Brazil, Italy, or even Argentina.
The Tour de France, a bicycle race, is bigger in France than football. In order to develope better players, you need a bigger following. Untill recently (the past 10-15 years or so) the French league teams were struggling to draw crowds to their matchs.

1) France are a good team (I don't recall Barthez making to many saves even with 10 men)

4) Italy and Brazil don't teach anyone anything. Italy cheated numerous times to win the 2006 world cup, there own league is fixed, and who did they beat to get to the final? Australia, Ukraine, Germany (wow one half decent nation)
