It's depend on your budget. The prices of antivirus software are about the same; make sure that you choose the software that give you free update. I choose Norton Antivirus because I have the old version; and that's why when I buy a new one, it is free after mail in rebate, and Norton also provide free update. In short I pay nothing for my antivirus software.
You can have free Norton software like I do if you buy on the on-sale period of computer stores and have the old version (CD or any proof that you buy the genuine version)

I have an Apple. So no viruses. at all. I think thats a pretty efficient anti-virus system. Plus no wasting time or money on anything virus-related. Ever.

Hi, the best and free anti-virus software is firefox.

firefox is powered by Google.

it can block that annoying ads and disable any virus on webpage. as you know, most virus are spread through internet.

firefox is much smaller than IE, so it run faster than IE.

Download firefox for free in here:

Good Luck.

I use the ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite, that handles my firewall, spyware blocker, and anti-virus in one control center. Very reliable, haven't had anything come up that ZoneAlarm hasn't caught

Another highly recommend suite it Trend Micro's PC-Cillin Internet Security Suite, which rivals ZoneAlarm's.
