Jack is hot, hilarious, androgygous etc Barbossa is not bad, but he's not my type of man. He's vile, repulsive, *almost* everything Jack is. However Jack is charming too!! Look at his eyes. ;)

As for the pirates in POTC, I like Barbossa - he's the epitome of "pirate".

my favorite pirate is the chinese woman pirate ching shih. She commanded 1,800 ships and 80,000 other pirates at one time and she made a deal with the emperor to let her retire and live out her natural life. A really rare thing among pirates.
Oh, this is only pirates of the caribean, too bad. They need more women pirates!

I am completely in love with Jack Sparrow. He is so cool and funny and goood at getting out of situatins. Very clever too.
