I personally use this site for fun, if i have a serious question, then i ask it! But i like coming on here for a laugh, so why are people so rude about it, if you don't like the question don't answer it!!

I just couldn't see myself being rude, if someone had an "offensive" question then i would answer it in a joking manner you know? its just a question for godsake, and its not directed at anyone imparticular, so why take it personally?

kicker2420, don't even try to figure it out, I've wondered the same thing. I agree, if you don't like the question, simply go to another one. You get two points for your answer, no matter what, there is still no need to insult people, for 2 points. I've asked questions and people just fly off the handle for no reason, one girl insulted my nickname, when she did that, I realized how low people will go for two points. Most people on this site, have a nickname, so what. This person told me that I wasn't a WWE DIVA, as if I did'nt know that, my name is only saying that i'm a huge fan of the WWE. It's a freaking name, if I were a WWE Diva, you think i'd be on this site answering and asking questions? Some of the things that people say, are flat out ridiculous!

There is no reason for anyone to be rude, other than complete immaturity. Just overlook them. They are just miserable and enjoy trying to make others feel as bad as they do. I think if it can't be said without hurting someone's feelings, then don't say it at all. Why would anyone intentionally hurt someone else, especially when they are seriously seeking an answer to a problem?

There are all kinds of people; and those with brains the size of pea are the rude ones. If somebody is being rude just ignore them or blow them off. They may be having a bad day, gotten an audit notice from the IRS, been told by their doctor they have aids, been drafted, who knows what. It is called life. I have said it before and I will say it again for your benefit, "There are only two kinds of people; assholes and not assholes".

Remember that people feel that undercover as in here, makes them free to insult and bother people, also there is many young guys around here, so take it from whom it comes...

anonymity brings out all sides of people's personalities. What you see on here, is the bluntness of people's true, behind close doors personality.
very similar to road rage, where all the other cars are just cars, and not people driving cars... here every opinion or question, is just an opinion or question without a person behind it...

well sweetie let's not try and be so broad by saying "people" because their are millions of us on here. not all of us are rude. and yes i come on here for fun too. but you can't get bothered by all the rude people they are miserable and they want company. don't even dignify them with a response or a question such as this. your so much better than that.

People are rude everywhere on the Internet because they can be without any recrimination. Yeah, it's not big or clever, but then neither are a lot of people who use the web.

Everyone feels the impluse to be rude at some time.
We're more likely to act on that impulse, though, when we think we're anonymous.

Thats soo true and its really annoying, and they take everything so literally,
