cannavaro!!!
a great italian defender, without even getting a yellow card.
he's really a good example for us, a role model.
has anyone seen him after the incident of zidane??
gattuso came to zidane asking him why he did that.and captain of italy cannavro was their trying to calm his co-players and he always does when the game gets tougher.
i actually consider him the winner of the golden ball, though he got the silver ball.

Cannavaro
Many contributors on here seem to have chosen to ignore that this was NOT the first time Zidane has deliberately headbutted other players.

For me, it'z Zinedine Zidane. He played really, really well, throughout the World Cup. When people said France had slim chances getting past the first round, he proved them wrong (along with the rest of the French team of course). He may have gotten that red card in the final game, but it was for a very serious reason. He got the Golden Ball, and he deserved it.
