Come on. Rey shouldn't have ever been anything more than cruserweight champ. The guy is tiny, and when they call him the biggest underdog champ it just makes you think how dumb vince was making that dicission. Rey could have really helped the cruserweight division, and if they excicuted it right, it might have almost been like the X division in TNA. But instead were supposed to beleive that whenever he wrestlers someone bigger than himself that he can just kick there legs, then do the 619. Rey made the World heavyweight championship not as important in my opinion. It use to be a championship for only really great superstars. I guess thats not the case anymore.

If you believe Ray Mysterio is a wrestler then you probably believe that Jesus helped him to win that title.......gullible!

You do have some good points. I would not have believed before Guerreros death that Rey be champion but I guess anything can happen, next year Funaki will be headlining WrestleMania. Point is he is a big company loyalist, been with them a long time and for some reason people really like him and respect him. After all he is the one who inspired Amy Dumas to become a wrestler (shouldn't I hate him for that?) Plus there was really no one else who could fit there, Batista gone and everyone else couldn't really fit the shoes of a champion. Let him have his time in the spotlight, he worked hard and deserved... I think.

It is not very believeable. It's a shame, but I believe part of the reason he's the champ is to play off the whole 'I loved Eddie, and now I will become stronger just for him' angle. Batista would probably still be champion if he didn't have his injury.

He might could pull off the US champion for a while, but Heavyweight, not believable and becoming sooo boring! They have definitely used him the wrong way.

yep, wrestling is all about shock value and popularity. Rey keeps em coming back, so he stays, regardless.... i dont think he will stay for long... and besides, if he's so tiny, why dont you take him out eh???? :)

Don't worry, he's just keeping the belt warm for Batista to take it back.
