We scout games where strong players are featured,
we come to games when invited by coaches,
and if a player sends us game film showing us his excellence...we'll come around.

Make your move Junior year if you are great...Senior year if you're serious about a scholarship.

Otherwise, we'll see you after you develope at your local JuCo

Keep playing well. And don't forget to contact some Division III schools if it's your dream to play college football and not just be on a scout team.

Dr. Bugly and Warrior offer good advice. Definitely get a highlight tape, and hopefully a game tape (exhibiting your outstanding performance in a single game).

John T. Reed's review of "College athletic recruiting lessons learned by a Miramonte Dad" is biased, a few years old, and focuses on the Ivy League, but it has a lot of good information mixed in there. I enjoyed reading it, you should at least glance through it.

Transfer to a school with a good football reputation like De LaSalle or Forest Park Academy. Scouts will be there.

Make a highlight video and send it out to every school you might want to go to and then send some more out. Don't forget to include Jucos. A lot of big programs recruit transfers from Jucos.
