From what I've observed I think Israel has more military power. Lebanon doesn't seem to have any power at all. Not even the power to restrain the Hezbollah militias that abducted and killed Israeli soldiers. I think Israel believes if the destroy enough buildings, the airport, etc. in Lebanon that the Lebanese government will step up to the plate and curtail the activities of Hezbollah. I think that's most unlikely.

Well Israel is obviously stronger, Lebanon basically has no chance. I feel that Israel is using uneccessary force. I feel that they should not be Bombing or shooting at the Lebanese People , it is a matter of time when Israel meets it maker.

yes ,we know that usa is powerfull...we see the American power in action in Iraq...
for your question, israel is powerfull, and lebanon does not have the means of defending oneself, it is for that besides that they benefit from it.
