i think the fear of failure is something that is socially ingrained. Generally, we are raised to do our absolute best in all endeavors... rewards are granted when we do well and for the most part some negative connotation comes with failing, teasing , punishment, lack of reward, so much so that it teaches us that failing is wrong. Its is socially acceptable to be successful but absolutely taboo to be a failure. If you don't have the right job and make the right amount of money and the right car...with the right degree...then we are nothing.
I fear failure more than anything else...(i can say this here because of anonymity)... but really i am consumed by fear.. everything i do seems like it needs to be socially acceptable. Success is always socially acceptable. In general, most people, lack originality to not need the validation of society. and since failure is number one taboo... it is ultimately feared.
this is how i see it in the context of my own life...I'm still trying to break the cycle...baby steps!

that's wrong we should not fear failure cause that's the way we learn from own mistake if we do not fall how do we know were doing the right thing cause failure is the stair way to success if you fail you should stand up as George Washington said never retreat never surrender its true sometimes failure is scary but if you accept failure you will learn how to forgive and forget ,always remember nobody is perfect everybody commit mistake.and by accepting failure we gain experience .

It is basicaly true.
My personal defining moments were moments of achievement.
The things i've been proud of, my accomplished goals.
They were things that set me apart from the rest and let me realize that I was an individual.
I don't fear failure as much as I fear my own apathy however...
maybe not apathy.... maybe... ignorance or... lack of effort.
because even if I fail, that doesn't mean i cannot succeed at the same task in the future.
Failure is Victory wrapped in a lesson.

you have a touch too slender view approximately failure. i do no longer understand the way can failure take each thing in one day, except, of direction, one is an exceedingly reckless gambler. Failure , i've got self assurance, is the substantial to fulfillment. We study from failure and alter our suggestions-set subsequently. Failure isn't risky in any respect, offered we've the flair and braveness to make it a step stone to fulfillment. concern of failure finally ends up in inactiveness and subsequently, that's risky.

I think society has a tendency to judge a person by the accomplishments he/she has made. To fail at realizing a dream or goal you are aspiring to obtain; often makes one feel inadequate. Self-esteem is built upon successes. I think what we need to realize is failing at something does not make us a failure..it is when we don't try at all we become failures.

because i want to succeed.
I want it so badly that a faliure is not an option.
I am also very lazy, so I am afraid that I will have to work twice as much if I fail the first time,
