Will Series of Unfortunate Events have a sequel???

If you mean the books, the last book (Book the Thirteenth) is being released on Friday, October 13 (of course!), 2006. That'll be the end, and I don't believe Daniel Handler (Lemony Snicket) has any plans to do a sequel, especially as he's just started writing and publishing "adult" books again (he just put out a book called Adverbs earlier this year ... not very good ...).

If you mean the films, the answer is no, for a couple of reasons:

1) The three children cast as Klaus, Sunny and Violet are ageing too quickly and by the time the film came out, they'd be too old (Harry Potter syndrome).

2) It was extremely complicated to translate the books to a screenplay format. If you'll recall, they mixed up the order of the books when portraying them in the movie -- they filmed it like Book 2, then Book 3 and finished with Book 1. This was because if they filmed it in order of the books, it wouldn't have flowed properly, and there was no real structure to the plot that way. As the books go on, the story and plot gets more and more bizarre, and it would become increasingly harder to translate that onscreen.

So sadly, no film sequel, no book sequel -- just one last installment to enjoy in a few months!

It is supposed to have a sequel, but I haven't heard much about it since the release of the movie! I hope so! I liked the Lemony Snicket series!
