To be honest I personally think it looks a bit trashy and most people do feel this way and fear expressing it publically due to the backlash of peers. I understand it is a way to express oneself in choosing to decorate one's body but I think if this is a choice then maybe using one that is temporary is a better choice for once you move past the "WOW I LQQk cool and it's the "in" thing to do or I am expressing my personality...ect.... The bottom line is a majority of those who made this now popular choice will evenually regret it and want it removed which is a painful process.

Actually, I've heard way more guys call it a "tramp stamp" than from girls. My gross teacher calls it a "freak tattoo."
I can't say anything bad about it because I'm planning on getting one but not a butterfly or tribal thing, something meaningful.
If it's a tribal thing, I think it's stupid because it's just some fad, what kind of meaning can it possibly have? Even if it did have a meaning, it's lost it's importance and individuality.

I usually just think she's kinda ordinary if it's a butterfly, because it isn't original at all. But if it looks like something she put thought into, then that's cool. It doesn't have so much to do with the placement, just the design. I don't think it necessarily says "tramp". A good friend of mine lived with nuns for a while, and she has a lower back tattoo.

I actually have two long roses on my lower back, and I have seen people with the tribal tattoos, it all depends on the person, because I will actually go up to the person so that I can see it better because I like them. If you don't like tattoos, then of course girls will talk, but if they are into them, like I am, there is no reason to think a girl is a tramp because of a mark on her

A tattoo on the lower back is probably the best place to put one, if you must get one, sigh...............my daughter has one there and its cute. But the best thing is it can be covered(and is most of the time) I think it looks awful when girls get them on their arms or chest or even ankles and then they have something to dress up for like attending a wedding. So there they are all pretty in their dresses with their hair done and looking feminine until WAIT Oh my god, she has barbed wire around her arm or something on her ankle. It just looks skanky, Really skanky. Throws the whole picture off.

Well, I have a butterfly and a tribal on my lower back. I think it is sexy and it shows people I am not afraid of pain. Anyhow, I check out other people's tattoos. I think it is cool and it shows that person's personality and unique. Tattoos also represent personal stuff. I posted my tattoos on this website. check it out. _starpanama

They're called Tramp Stamps for a reason. I don't like tattoos on anyone, guys or girls.

Somebody asked this just a short time ago. In the Wedding Crashers they refer to it as a sexual bull's eye; a sure thing. I think it's just utter lack of imagination. They're a dime a dozen. I have a tattoo.

Tramp?? I wouldn't think so. I think it's cute! Unless the girl can't pull it off then I might suggest she is a bit trashy just cause she wants to show it off, but she shouldn't because it isn't flattering on her.
