I think the Republicans offer more in respect of the "American Dream." If you are lazy, lack education, are poor, were brought up in abusive home/a poor home, love flowers then you would probably prefer the democrats. If you love money, god, guns, morality, war, self-reliance, and responsibilty for your actions you would probably prefer the reupblican part. I usually vote republican because I am conservative, I want less gov't, mostly less spending (yes, the war is running up a big tab, which hopefully can be reduced soon), I also want a conservative moral soceity, and I want to insure that I have the rights to continue to carry a gun. I came from a God loving upper middle class family so I guess I am well off but I found importance in working so to me social programs are a waste of money, I think we should have very tightly ristricted welfare that is short-term.

Let's see.....Woodrow Wilson was a Democrat, and he led this country through World War 1. Franklin Roosevelt was a Democrat, he led this country out of the Great Depression, and through World War Two, and established the Social Security System. John Kennedy faced off against the Soviet Union, and kept nuclear weapons out of Cuba. Lyndon Johnson was a Democrat, and he pushed through the landmark legislation known as the Voting Rights Act, which insured Blacks and other minorities the right to vote, and which the Republicans today, do not want to renew.

Herbert Hoover was a Republican....his economic policies caused the collapse of the Stock Market and the Great Depression that followed. Richard Nixon was a Republican and he used the FBI to spy on his political enemies, and was forced to resign in disgrace. Our current president is a Republican, and he has increased the total national debt by 30 percent in the time that he has been president. He is responsible for the death of more than 2500 American soldiers, and the maming of 17000 more. His chief of staff will likely be indicted for disclosing classified national security information for his own political gain.

I guess I'd have to say, the Democratic pary has a better plan for this country that the Republicans.

Okay, I'm not here to insult anyone. This is just my observation in life since I have been voting now for 40 years !
Whenever a Republican is in office our economy goes down & we middle class struggle. There is always some sort of $$$ problem. When the Democrats are in they may get into mischief like Clinton did but the country was running a whole lot better & not as many as now was out of work.

I favor Democrats, and revile the moronic Re-puke-lican party. (does the puke satisfy your requirement?)

However, the Green party is the best.
