Why do the muslims hate the jews?

It goes back to Abraham. Abraham had a son (Ishmael) by his wife's handmaiden. (Hagar) . This was not according to God's plan, but according to Sarah's suggestion. You see, God had promised Abraham he would have many descendants. Now Abraham and Sarah were very old and were beginning to doubt God's promise. Sarah was barren and thought the only way Abraham could have children was with another women. (Enter Hagar) Well after Ismael was born, sure enough, Sarah got pregnant. That son was Issac. Abraham sent Hagar away with her son Ismael, but not without God's declaration of blessings to his descendants. You may have guessed it, but the Muslims are decendants of Ishmael and obviously the Jews are decendants of Issac. For obvious reasons, both have continuously fought over their position as the "chosen of God"

Islam and Jews and Christians all claim the same holy sites in the Middle East (most of the sites are shared) also they share the same roots of their respective holy books. The Torah, Quran, and Old Testament are all more or less the same (with some changes).
The reason Muslims in the middle east arent happy with Jews--- after world war II the UN decided Jews should have a homeland, so they decided to give them Israel, and gave the muslims Palestine, which was tiny... anyhoo, Muslims didnt like the Jews coming and taking land, and in effect some of the holy sites in Islam. Then war broke out because of tensions, and Jews kicked butt and the muslims have been sour grapes since.

This is bull! Muslims dont hate jews! They may have some hatred for these so-called Israeli people! These people are not Jews(HEBREWS)The Amerikkkan government and the European set up this place/state for the so-called Jew to police the region and protect the way to the mineral resources of the region! With no concern to the displacement of the Palestinian people whom have been there since B.C.! The Jews as well! Historically these peoples were nomadic anyway. And then for these people whom have become the whore of Babylon...there is never any blame assigned to them by the Amerikkkan government or the Amerikkkan press. I am totally turned off by the behavior of the Israeli people...........they are the whores of the Amerikkkan government and white interest and they are doing the same thing that Hitler and the SS did to them. They are just as guilty!

Muslims do not hate Jews.
Jews do not hate Muslims.
Let us not submit to the brash headlines of the tabloids.
We are only dealing with very small, but very vocal, groups of extremists.
It is easy to forget that beyond the screaming headlines are people of all cultures and religions who work and live with each other peacefully and respectfully on a daily basis, in the Middle East, and beyond.
It is better that individuals like us take a stand against these radicals who make a mockery of their religious and cultural beliefs by reminding everyone that 99% of the people in the world possess the most basic level of sophistication to respect other people who might be different from them.

Because they have not read the Qur'an. Jews and Christians are People of the Book, just like Muslims (according to the Qur'an).

They hate -- or, if you prefer, fervently oppose -- the Jews because it's codified in the Koran.

[4.160] Wherefore for the iniquity of those who are Jews did We disallow to them the good things which had been made lawful for them and for their hindering many (people) from Allah's way.

I think it's about who is the rightful heir of Abraham.
Should it be the first male born of Abraham even if the child was born out of wedlock to Hagar?
or
Should everything go to the first born male conceived Abraham and his wife Sarah?
