Hi, I have a computer (which has 2 monitors) at my workplace, which I believe has a Linux Red Hat operating system, and whenever I minimize a window, I can't find it on the taskbar. So when I click the minimize button, it basically disappears into the bottom right hand corner of the monitor. No one at my workplace knows what the problem is. Is there something I can do, such as a keyboard command, which would allow me to maximize the windows which I minimize? Thanks for your help.

Some versions of the Gnome desktop have two task bars. The one (usually on the top) has the application menu and usually a quick launch section and the clock.

The other (usually on the bottom) has a list of open programs (similar to the windows task bar) and often on the right will have a set of 4 boxes that are other desktops. if your program isn't in that bar, click on the different windows to see if it is in one of the other desktops.

You should also be able to Alt-Tab through open programs.
