Making sure we stay hydrated, using air conditioner and fans to keep the air cool (about 70), limiting our time outdoors (husband has coronary artery disease and congestive heart failure), wearing shorts and tank tops. When I get really hot I like to jump in the shower with the water barely warm. That's most refreshing. (wish we had a pool)

I like to freeze my water for an instant drink of ice cold water anywhere I go, without a cooler, and it stays cold for so long. It really does cool you down.

My nephew bought me a personal fan that is on a string around my neck and when I get hot, I can just turn it on for a while.

stay inside. Put the fan on. Drink plenty of ice water. Can't go to the lake. Today it is blocked off for the summerfest. I think it will hurt their buisness if we can't even go swimming.

Later on we will go sit and watch the ducks swim. We can't swim in that area but ducks go where they want.
