15 fwy to the 215...the 15 turns into the 215 after you pass Ontario...Take it all the way down...

Asuming you're in downtown take I-10 East to I-15 then take I-15 North for about 250 miles and you'll be in Las Vegas. (the I-15 actually runs next to the strip.)
It should take no more than 4 hours with stops, but if you're going on a weekend be ready to spend a lot more time.

Normally a 4 hour drive except on Friday afternoons, it becomes a parking lot.

Than reverses itself on sunday afternoon. If you can avoid this two times, you can make with the least amount of stopping.

Water and tunes... Keep plenty in the vehicle...

I-15 north - go four to six hours depending on traffic - you're there!

I-15.... be careful though.....it's like nascar out there (we call it asscar) Also, make sure you have water in your car.... water for you and for your car in case it overheats...you are travelling thru death valley after all.
