It is just I don't want the clean versions cause everything els is also different.I find myself sometimes singing(rapping)that word and believed I heard black people are not ok whit that.Is that true?Ifso please explain why cos I am not a biggit nor rascist whatsoever.
I just get carried away by the lyrics and start singing along.Like Nuthin but a "G" thang,it's so catchy.Shuold I really avoid singing along to that?
I truely consider some rapsongs to be art, like Words of Wisdom and F**** Tha Police and some others.
Other tunes just lift my mood or are just what I need at that moment.
I do like to stress that I am aware and don't doubt or underestimate the discrimination against Afro Americans and the hard struggle for equality.I know it was ugly in the past and that it is not over yet
That is why I am asking
Maybe I don't understand fully the context or harm in that word cos I'm from Europe.
For me it stands for never ignorant, getting goals accomplished thanks to Tupac ofcourse

I'm black I use the N word amd my best friend is white and he uses it too. The first time he said it he said " an N like me" , so I gave him a pass. If you empathize with the cause then you're in, but make sure that your friends are open minded and multi-colored (lol). The most important thing is A at the end = cool; ER at the end = problems.

In the comfort of your own home let it fly man I think its cool that you love the music. Just make sure you don't hurt anyone's feelings. I give you a pass tho lol

Just use it as an endearing term... hangin wit my ******. Rather than a derogative form... runnin down some stupid ******. If blacks think that the slavery of their ancestors have earned them some sort of preferential treatment above the rest of the world then that is their problem. I call stupid people in their own race their proper term... chinks, white trash/honkey, japs, wet back, and for blacks I usually use the term "dirty ******" as not to get it confused as an endearing form of the word. I wish that everyone could see the world as full of human beings but that is simply not the way the world is run right now and this is most visible when it comes to prison. Anyways, say what you want, besides... its the shock factor these days that gets the most notoriety in the music industry.

OK well I'm mixed (black and white) and well I don't care if someone was to say "the N word" around me. But that's just me. If I were you I just wouldn't sing or rap or whatever around people who think it might offend. Some black people might take it the wrong way and you don't want that to happen! lol :)

you're black and the N word would not hardship you? That truth bothers me Are we in simple terms desensitize to the N word that that's elementary? No, no longer in my society. that's vulgar, racist, and represents hate. Sorry....try to be too youthful to truly have those techniques
