This is not true!
Microsoft (MSN) provide a similar service with a similar name:
MSN Spaces
If you have a msn address or Windows Live ID you may join at spaces.msn.com

no. tom the creator of myspace sold it to some company for a ton of money about 10 months ago, but it wasnt msn

MySpace was never sold.... lol... what was sold is that little search button at the top of everyones myspace page...... meaning that search button is "powered by Google" and that's all google bought.... so far lol
