Sad thing is I was warned that he does this but ignored it because we have been friends for a while. He will not answer my phone calls and I am getting so mad that he would do this to me. Part of me just needs to accept it and move on, another part of me wants to confront him or get even...........so low down not to pay after I worked my a** off helping him.............urgh!!!!

Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice, shame on you. The unfortunate thing is that this was your friend - but if this is how he's going to treat you, then he never was your friend. There are a lot of rotten people out there - it's a tough lesson to learn but I'll bet you won't let this happen to you again.

Hi Hun
well there are 2 things you can do
1.. call it dead money and move on and drop this so called mate don't have nothing to do with him
or
2... go to a clams court and get the money you worked for
it is hard i bet your emotions are all over the place huh
i do hope you sort things out for you do what you think is best but remember you was warned before you worked for him so bashing him wont do you no favors and i bet your a bigger person than that anyway you sound adult enough not to do that
good luck
respect
shaz

Kinda need to look in the mirror and be mad at the person looking back.If you where pre warned about this then you knew it was coming,as for your so called friend, forget it, someday he will need someone to help him yet he will have no one cause he ripped everyone off.Good luck God bless:O)

Move on, it is not worth going to jail for any amount of money. Take this as a learning experience and never have anything to do with this "friend" again.

Let it go, Lewie! You learned a valuable lesson. If you do something for a friend, don't EXPECT to get paid and if it's discussed, get it in writing. Find another friend and be the bigger man....this guy deserves what he gets.

I believe this is one of those times when my Dad would say "You just got a life experience point, enjoy!".

Depending on how much he owes you it might be better to just take the lesson.

Take him to small claims court if he will not pay you. He is no good friend of yours with this attitude.
