Everyone seems to be wondering why Muslim terrorists are so quick to commit suicide. Let's see now. . . . .
No Christmas
No television
No cheerleaders
No baseball
No football
No hockey
No golf
No tailgate parties
No Wal-Mart
No Home Depot
No pork BBQ
No hot dogs
No burgers
No chocolate chip cookies
No lobster
No shellfish, or even frozen fish sticks
No Beer
Rags for clothes and towels for hats.
Constant wailing from the guy next-door because he's sick and there are no doctors.
Constant wailing from the guy in the tower.
More than one wife.
You can't shave.
Your wives can't shave.
You can't shower to wash off the smell of donkey cooked over burning camel dung.
The women have to wear baggy dresses and veils at all times.
Your bride is picked by someone else.
She smells just like your donkey.
But your donkey has a better disposition.
Then they tell you that when you die it all gets better!
I mean, really, is there a mystery here?

They’re desperate!
Desperativity breads irrationality, which in turn creates intolerance & ignorance of one's situation.
For example, a person can not be “brain washed” unless they are desperately hopeless, this is why people who do brain washing use tactics of torture so they can get the person in a state of mind that is “–very- desperate”.
Belief that you are in a desperate situation.
Your family desperately needs funds to survive.
The perception of one's oppressive situation can create a desperate person from a desperate situation such as oppression.
If you are desperate, then any means to get out of that desperate state of existence is justifiable to yourself. Therefore it is Just (as in justice, it's justifiable) in your mind; making it the “right path” (example: “by any means necessary”). This is not to say or encourage or condone that such an act is the “best” thing/course of action to do, instead it is something to keep in mind to learn from.

People can call it what they want (brainwash, paid large sums of money) but it all comes down to true belief in what you are doing. It is the same reasons firemen run into a burning building, and soldiers go to war for the country. To them it is their cause, it is the right thing according to their beliefs and nothing or no one can stop that. And to the one remark, they are not the coward, the people that ask them to do it, but wont do it themselves are the true cowards here.

Religion, Politics. I have read that some suicide bombers are bred to perform this task, while others are paid HUGE sums of money to do this (the money usually goes to their families). 9 times out of 10 though the suicide bombing is in the name of Allah...

Some are paid for the act with the money going to their family. They do it to help their family financially. Others, are brainwashed into thinking that they will get a heavenly reward if they die fighting the infidels.

I'd say a complete self-determination for his cause and in most cases having nothing to lose.
Being blinded with religion in order for someone to manipulateh im can help too.

It's not daring it's the ultimate act of cowardice that they cannot face responsibility for their own actions and leave their families to take the blame.

Commitment to a cause greater than themself. They feel that they are sacrificing their life for their ideal and/or country, that they will be remembered for this. There is no logical reason why someone would be willing to give up their life, just a 'feeling' of duty.

Personally, I see it as a very cowardly act, certainly not brave!
Killing innocent men, women and children in the name of GOD surely cannot be looked on as anything other then fanaticism and I fear NO GOD would condone that act. No certainly NOT brave.
