Saddam was in control of Al Qaeda the whole time. Didn't you know that?

After Saddam went down, we have seen nothing but great things happening in Iraq. What planet are you from?

Yeah it was proven no connection haha. Sorry but Saddams government had connections to al-qaida although they weren't too significant or had anything to do with 9/11. The reason we went to war in Iraq wasn't because they were the blame for the 9/11 attacks but rather we needed to disrupt the flow of terrorism in the middle east, establish freedom and democracy, and overthrow a brutal dictator. People have a hard time realizing what good WILL come from Operation Iraqi Freedom. It really does have the potential to become a brilliant move. Possibly in 100 years it will be viewed that way in hisory books. It's just going to take a few decades for the middle east to modernize and become victim of capitalism and globalization(which is a good thing I believe). There is no stopping it, it's just a matter of time I promise you. This is why there is so much turmoil, fundamental muslims want to disrupt any attempt of capitalism, globalization, and the spread of freddom/democracy/and a secular soceity,

This is a moot question. No he didn't, no he didn't. The mistake GWB made was trying to get revenge instead of going after the real terrorists. One more time Osama is a Saudi( a very rich Saudi) most of the hijackers on 9/11 were Saudis. The Bush's have many ties to the Saudis( financial). We should have gone to Afghanistan with everything we had and cut off the head of AlOaida and the financing. We should have told the Saudis get rid of your problem or we will. When the terrorists saw what we did(invaded a sovereign country with NO ties to terrorists) they rejoice because NOW we were what they always called us-- aggressive. And their numbers increased 20 fold. In Iraq, in Iran and everywhere else they could. Now we have an even bigger problem.--Jesus weeps--

9/11. no, probably not.

Al Qaida? Yes. There were high level dealings between Iraq and Al Qaida both before and after 9/11.

President Bush said that he was going after terrorist, all terrorists, not just Al Qaida and Osama. The Congress, both houses and both parties agreed.
