Face your fears... Try going out in your backyard and staring at a worm... just watch it aint get use to the idea of seeing it without buggin out.
Once you can do this tryin pickin him up... or puttin your hand next to it until you can stand to pick him up.
Exposing yourself to your fear is the key.

I would try to face your fear. Go get a thing of worms and go fishing with them. Then kinda talk yourself thru it that that part of the movie was totally fantasy. Heck you can get real worms and feed them to the fish instead of the other way around.

Ick, the worm part. I would like to be cruel and tell you to just face your fears and dive into a vat of worms *cough* sorry, but I think you should learn about worms :) Learn about them until you know their behaviors, you know why they do what they do, and maybe if you know all of it, there will be no unknowns and you can get over your fear academically.

worms are harmless, maybe you should get someone to get you a worm and put it in a jar and watch it for a couple of days so you can see how harmless they are, and then eventually pick up a worm. keep taking baby steps to get over your fear.

Those aren't worms. Those icky things are giant centipedes, also, the one who sucked the hell outta Lumpy are giant snakelike poriferous things. Those cricket-like bugs are GIANT cricket-like bugs. So, everything down there is pretty massive.
And no worries, those things wont get you when you sleep. Think of that everytime you go to sleep.

Hypnotism is a BAD idea.
But it's not like this fear influences your everyday life. I'm afriad of snakes, but it's not like I can't check the mail or do other things. Same with you.
You're okay!

just tell your brain that they wont hurt you.
then after you dont have any problems thinking about them, start looking at pictures.
then move on to animated pictures, then finally the real thing.
this should work
all you have to rember is that YOU control your brain. dont let it control u.

Possibly go see a hypnotist. I hear that works great for phobias.
