why can't you take it off before you hit the snooze butten and dream on.

Oh hell yes. I can never wake up for ****. One thing I have tried to prevent myself from being a snooze maniac. Is put the clock at the other side of the room. I have heard also of a puzzle clock that when it wakes you up a puzzle breaks into pieces and you cant shut of the alarm till you put the puzzle together. Never tried it but its worth a shot :) link below.

Not really. I wake up before my alarm clock rings anyway. I'd just tilt my alarm clock so the trap slides off and turn my alarm off. If I'm late to my job, I'd lose it. That's my motivation for getting out of bed.

Better still are three shrill alarm clocks, placed just out of arm's reach, in different parts of the room, all set to go off at the same time.

If i have the problem of going back to sleep i just put my alarm on the other end of the room so i have to get up to shut it off.

I would probably forget that it was there and hit the snooze anyway. I usually set my alarm so that I can snooze a couple of times before I have to get up. This allows me time to wake up...somewhat.

Buy an alarm clock that turns on the lights when it goes off, that would keep me up.

i guess that could work but i wouldnt want to do that. i have a lot of trouble getting up. i never would hear my alrm so i got a loud one that will go off for two hrs if i dont shut iit off. what i do is place it out of my reach so i have to get up to shut it off (i hate the annoying alarm clock noise so i have to shut it off-this helps) but then sometimes i just get up turn it off and go back to my bed. you could try having a bunch of alarm clocks to go off every minute. and make sure they are loud and dont just shut off after a minute like my old one. maybe i should try that....

You should drink a glass of water before bed, so when it's time to wake up, the strong urge to pee will get you out of bed. Works for some people.
