If you really don’t care about the abominably poor image of America that Bush presents to the world, why do you get so worked up when people post questions criticising the US?

Because to Republicans, if you in any way, shape, or form question Bush, you are an evil person and wrong.

To question Fuhrer Bush and his leadership is unAmerican and unpatriotic. And because Republicans hate everyone.

(And no, I'm not a Republican)

Why do so many people think Bush is the leader of anything. He may be the President of USA but he isn't a dictator nor is he a terrorist. Ya'll don't like him go live in a different country .Those of you abroad CAN STAY THERE! Bush is a figurehead. He doesn't get to call all the shots. No President does. That is why we also have a cabinet/Senate/House of Representatives/Congress. There are many people involved with running this country. And I really do not see this as a Republican VS. Democrat thing because I can't see where aNY sitting President has done much without causing hate and discontent.

Simple. Republicans care about tax cuts for the wealthy, short term gain. They do not care at all about the harm Bush has done our country and the world in the least. Republicans would vote for Bush again if they could. Republicans still think Bush is a Godly person. Republicans also don't think it's a problem that Bu$h is stupid and incompetent. Republicans also don't see lies as a problem. Bush represents Republicans well.

We have every right to be proud of our country or angry at the administration or anything else. We pay taxes here. We live here. This is our home.

I don't care what the world thinks of us-I truly don't. You don't govern here, you don't make laws or effect them in any way. Unlike John Kerry, I don't think this nation should be ruled by the UN nor do I believe we should submit to some world standard.

You don't like our attitude? Send back every dime of aid our country has sent to yours. Don't ask us for help. (We'll likely send it anyway because while we don't feel a compelling need to conform, we do sincerely love our fellow man)

If a democrat was president, I would feel the same way. No matter who is in the White House, we are still a united nation.

I support the president and I could care less what the world thinks about him personally. I am American and I'm very patriotic, I hate when people talk bad about the US. I can understand objectivly speaking about policy but I can't stand ignorant statements from Europeans/Middle Easterners when they have no idea what is going on and lack a better model of life in their own countries. Until they can dominate the global economy, military force, and have a living-quality that we have they can just sit in their ran down cities and talk about what ever it is they talk about. Blood for Oil is about the most ignorant of their rants. (Sorry to kind of turn the question to that but it's true)

Who said we don't care about our image with the rest of the world? That is, the rest of the world that knows the truth and not just spin from the left. We care about our image with our allies, not with the people who refuse to support us. This is not a popularity contest. This is a fight to keep me and my family safe from people who want to kill us all. I thank God that my president understands this and is willing to do what needs to be done and not follow your worldwide opinion poll. So as far as those people who would rather bash then help, your right, I couldn't care less. But when the world is eventually a safer place I do expect a "thank you".

In my opinion, people get so "worked up" when you criticize the US because they subconciously realize that voting for republicans and BUSH and the entire NEO-CON ideals are wrong. BUT having bought into them so fully, it's hard to admit your wrong about something you believed to be right. It's the same old syndrome of you thinking something is red, and someone pointing out it's orange and you denying to your grave that it's orange because in your head it is RED and you'll have it no other way. It's the insecurity of knowing you might be wrong BUT not having the courage to admit it so you defend your position even to the point of killing the other person to keep from having to admt you might be wrong. Like when people build their lives on faith in their religion, they would rather go to war and commit murder than admit their faith (therefore their entire existance) is built on a lie.

turn the question around, do you like it when people put down your country, or anything you feel strongly about?
theres your answer!

no one is perfect. we're doing a rough job, that no one else will do. if you dont like the way we do it, then perhaps you could pitch in and help out?
America is one of the most generous countries in the world. aside from iraq and afghanistan, we try to help everyone, regardless of color or race or anything else. if you can seperate the people from the govt, then americans are a pretty decent lot.

we vote in who we THINK will lead us, do you agree 100% all the time of your leaders?

Because the criticism is typically ignorant, condescending and reveals an inferiority complex that hides behind a false sense of sophistication and moral superiority.

We can get the same stupid flatulence at home from the liberals. We don't need imported ignorance.

I'm an American, not a Republican though, that is such a great question! I hope some of the Conservatives answer!

The GOP plan is fascism, whenever criticism is leveled against the crooked Bush administration it is labeled as unpatriotic.
