Right Click the MY Computer icon. The Ram Memory is at the lower right on the list.

Right click on My Computer icon on desktop then select Properties. The screen will show you installed OS and amount of Ram.

You can watch the screen as it boots. Most systems will check the memory and will show how much you have. If you have one of the few that does not or are set to quick boot so it does not show then go to control panel-system. The first screen will show the amount of ram as well as the version of win98 that you have.

go to my computer then right click the drive (C:) and left click properties it should be listed right there. Win 98 i would say between 20-40GB

mainly 8kb memory is westage and to see your memory which used in installation right click on installation drive and calculat difference between originally memory ans after installation memory

i think all windows have the System function. its in the control center. you can also check it in your directx configuration window.
start->run type in dxdiag.exe and click run and when the window opens it should show the amount of memory in the system tab.

Click on C DRIVE.
