I want to major in nursing or medicine in particular. What college courses should I take to be a RN or a Pediatrician? What should I take my first year?

You might want to visit www.discovernursing.com They have a lot of info. Also, when you do find your school there should be an adviser available to you (or assigned to you) that will be able to help you out. Beyond that (I'm starting the process of going back to school for this) it looks like chemistry, anatomy and physiology, biology/microbiology, and some psychology are good starting points. Oh and it seems they all want a statistics course in there as well. Good luck.

I highly suggest you do not leave your future up to the randoms who answer questions here on Yahoo. Sit down, talk with your friends and family and people you trust. Perhaps even your teachers if you want to. Think about it long and hard before making any major decisions!

Go speak with counselors in each program and get a degree plan for each track. Then decide.
