You won't believe but some people are content with their situation. Some are actually thankful that God takes care of their most basics needs. Money does not buy happiness, so they are not necessarily sad or angry people. On the other hand, some poor people could be greedy and materialist.

What kind of poor man are you speaking of? The one who is poor in spirit? Or the one who is poor in material things? Because the only measure that counts is the one of the spirit. There is a saying that goes:

There is no poor man when he has friends, and family!

So the poor man's mind is full of misery and unhappiness, No matter if he has one$ or one million $$.

Greed, dissatisfaction, and misery always follows the man who is poor in his spirit.

Not much...A poor man doesn't have time to dream, he has to work, to earn money. I think in his mind is only the hope of a better future.

Are you asking this question from the perspective that money and station defines a person, and also when you say poor do you mean minimum-wage-poor, or do you mean Africa-poor?

I think if the latter (min. wage) you will find there is as much going on as in anyone elses.

nothing except drinking, eating and procreating according to Marx. The poor man is only concerned with the "animal instinct" because of the economic shackles placed on him by the establishment.

Also if you cannot to sleep at night it is way of knowing you have too much money.

I don't know, but I can tell you what's on a poor WOMAN'S mind...

Moving to Egypt so I can be poor and happier in a place where people actually understand me.

Making or getting more money. Beliefs, schooling to get a better job to make more money.

I speak from experience. I am a college student getting my degree right now.

poor man is suppose to be very religious, and so he should be prayerful, easy going and close to God person.
whatever he cannot do, he should expect miracles from above to do it for him.
For who ever does that, they are the best of creatures before God.
