Hey man, not only is your question extremely distasteful, rude, immature, and just plain stupid but you also show a commanding lead in not having a proper understanding of mental health and the challenges that those who suffer from various disorders have with substance abuse in particular--this coming from somebody who does struggle with such a battle and having grown up with a father who was a psychologist. Your comment "dead at age 60" is tragic...any death is tragic...perhaps you will realize this at somepoint when you are faced with the horror of death as it takes away those you love...becuase remember Syd Barret was like anyother person who loved and was loved.
