It depends on if your child is ready for them. My youngest is 10 months and I have begun giving him some thing like the mini fruites because he is a very good chewer of course I sit with him and watch him while he eats. If you feel your child is ready then go ahead just don't leave him unattended with the food. And no you do not need to cut it up.

They nevertheless chomp on them surprisingly properly with their gums, and they dissolve genuinely. yet another aspect you may prefer to attempt are the "Lil Crunchies" from Gerber. My women love the puffs and the crunchies. compared to the call shows, the crunchies are not very crunchy in any respect. They dissolve quite right now, too, it is sturdy because my women are 9 months previous, and the tooth that broke by at 7 months nevertheless have not thoroughly arise.

I cut the ravioli in half. It just seems like too much for my son to put in his mouth. The rest i gave as is. I started him at about 10 months...he wouldn't eat regular baby food.

I never really gave my kids the Graduates...when they were old enough/developed enough to eat food like that (regular food that's diced) I just started giving them what we were eating. I did give them (and still do, actually) the Graduates cereal bars and crackers, and I don't cut them up. (They're 12 months and 28 months old)

I never used them. By the time my kids were ready for them (about 1yr) it was easier to just cut up whatever I was eating. Also a whole lot cheaper.
