What you think the pictures are real,I know a fat bald bloke with no teeth and dog's breath with a pic of a real hunk on his site-it don't always do what it says on the tin mate.!!!!-no offence intended to the overweight-toothless or folically challenged intended.ktf.x

no, it really doesn't have to mean they are pretty/handsome because its only an avatar. You can put there whatever you want, just people most of the time put something that looks like them. Anyways, where is yours?

Usually don't look at the avatar only the question.... and pretty doesn't really do it for me.

...seeing that avatars are fake no, and you never know if the picture a person has under their profile is really them.
