If your boss is anything like mine, you better beg or make up a story about a sick relative in England...

likely no longer an effective concept. Does she pick you on your body? there is an chance, yet regardless of this, you're making better difficulty you should once you become in touch including your boss. Did she element out the dozing preparations? in case you have not been acquaintances - you understand, putting out on the bar, going to dinner, barbeques, in spite of - if this request comes each and each and every of the unexpected, then it is particularly strange. i'd circumvent it except you're positive you receives alongside. also evaluate that if you're considered in tight with a disliked boss, then you definately could have difficulty getting including your co-workers. which could be ok for a chairman, in spite of the indisputable fact that it is not any longer large once you're purely yet another peon. human beings will circumvent talking to you or doing issues concerning you for concern you'll take memories decrease back to the boss. in case you do get some relationship going and it falls aside, in all probability it's going to be you searching for the recent interest. ideal determination, sleep including her and get some exciting pictures of her to share with co-workers, ha ha or use in a sexual harrassment case. If she's only searching for herself, ask your self what it truly is amazingly all about?

Just go to your boss and ask if there is anything on the calendar during that 10 days that he will absolutely need you for and most likely he will say no why? and then the convorsation is open for you to say because I'd like to go on a vacation during that time.

Go in with guns blazing and demand you deserve a break!

That is of course you work hard regularly, come in on time, and are a valuable employee. Of course if none of the previous apply to you - forget it! You probably don't deserve a vacation.

You just tell him, thats why he gave you vacation days. My boss used to give me grief about taking my vacation days and I just politely asked him why he gave me two weeks of vacation time if he did not intend for me to use them.

Don't ask, demand. If you are worth anything to the company they will let you. If that doesn't work, conveniently call in sick for 10 days.
