I did something to my computer today and dont know what... First it The cap locks are backwards... if caps is on it type is lower case and visa versa... then if i select a file... it also selects all the files above it.... what the hell did i do and how do i fix it...

Nope, there all wrong so far. All you have done is turned on StickyKeys!

Press Shift (the arrow) 5 times. Then a dialog should appear - hit cancel and all should be well again.

It means you accidentally pressed the function key on your keyboard.

Just reboot your computer and the problem should get fixed.

If problem persists, then a registry key might've been corrupted so just go to Start Menu, Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and then click on System Restore and do a restore to yesterday or the day before you had this problem...and it will restore itself.

try maybe a system restore? did u spill something on the keyboard, try unplugging the keyboard restarting and let the system keyboard error then turn it off plug it back in and see if that works?

Maybe a shift key is stuck. Try replacing the keyboard with another.

You might just need to do a manual reboot because there could be a possiblity that you messed up the system configuration.

Man check your shift key
press both shift keys hardly 2 or 3 times
then it will be ok
