Isn't this the same mentality that made it difficult to understand that Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden are actually two different people?

Because they are uninformed, biased, bigoted Jesus freaks. Bottom line is, the people of Israel and the Palestinians, both are suffering. And the solution to their conflict is nowhere in sight.

Actually no. It's the same mentality that has other countries going after Al Queda in parts of the world that aren't part of their own territory. I usually disagree with Israeli aggressions, but his one, I'm afraid, they have a right to do. The Israelis did after all, withdraw from much of the occupied areas, which took some guts and I believe a sincere desire to help the peace process along. I don't understand why Lebanese and Palestinian politicians would want to shoot themselves in the foot by jeopardizing what gains they have made, by both harboring Ham mas and Hezbollah and allowing operations to be conducted from their soil. If they can't police themselves, Israel, for it's own security, has a right to do it unilaterally.

Actually, it's called "cause and effect" and is taught in elementary school.

Cause: Palestinians dig a tunnel under the border, kill eight soldiers, kidnap one, and then try to sell the soldier back to Israel. The last trade was for two mutilated, tortured bodies for dozens of criminals that Israel was holding (not a great trade).

Effect: Israel knows the soldier is probably already tortured and dead, no rush to trade. They go get the body. The body is moved, they go looking for it. People attack them on the way, they defend themselves.

Seems pretty simple. Cause and effect. You may have missed it.

Well.. Most people just lump terrorists together

A terrorist is a terroist is a terroist is good target practice.

Its hard to keep all the IwannaJihad goups straight anymore.. They go by so many names and want to kill everyone and their brother for so many outlandish and stupid reasons.... I dont even bother memorising their names anymore, there must be 50 or 60 of them. They have dont have alot in common except blind hatred... oh, and they are all muslim it seems.

It just goes to show how great the educational system in the U.S is, I don't think most class rooms even have a world map.
