Ear mites if not treated will cause the ear to get infected and the drainage will run out on to the ear. There can be a hard crust form down in the ear that has to be treated by putting mineral oil in the ear to soften it, then put hydrogen peroxide in to clean it out and finally put an equall amount of alcohol and vingegar mixed in it. If there is infection in the ear there will be a terrible smelling odor from the ear. It takes a while but this stopped it in my rabbit. I try to keep ear mites out but sometimes this does happen. It could have not have been mites but just an ear infection but this did clear it up. They scratch their ears with mites so if you see one scatching their ears put mineral oil or ear mite medication in their ears immediately. I treat mine for ear mites about every 2 weeks. You can also give your rabbit a shot of Ivomec to keep down ear mites, fur mites and fleas. I don't like giving my rabbits shots so I use the ear mite med.

Most likely an infection of some sort. Take your rabbit to a vet that specializes in exotic animals. Many conventional vets don't treat rabbits.

She may just have a case of ear mites. Get some ear mite medicine for cats if you cant get some special for rabbits and clean her bedding really good. If it is mites her ears will start looking 100% better by tomorrow.

Unfortunately, that really doesn't give much information and it is VERY hard to know without seeing them. I suggest you take your rabbit to the vet and let the professionals tell you. They will also be able to help get rid of them if it's possible.

Believe it or not, rabbits can get acne in their ears--one of my bunnies had it. But if you're unsure, get to the vet. Please take care of your bunny!
