DONT FEEL BAD! The only reason you feel bad is because you're such a nice guy [apparently] and you seem to care for your girlfriend a lot.
You NEED time doing guy stuff with your friends. I'm sure she has girltime with her friends. If you dont spend time apart, your relationship could get old fast because either one of you may feel smothered or too familiar with the other [familiarity breeds contempt, remember?] But absence makes the heart grow fonder!

You feel sad and bad because of all the time you guys spent together and now your breaking the mold. There is nothing wrong with you going out with your friends its healthy and hopefully she has some friends that she can make plans with. Relationships are great but dont put all your eggs in one basket, understand?

Hey, spend time with her tomorrow. If she didn't object, there is no reason to feel guilty. Both sides in a relationship need time with their (same sex) buddies, it's just the way it works. Think of something you both like a lot, and do it over the weekend, and just enjoy tonight.

Sorry... But if you had allready made arrangements with her to spend time with her, you should have at least included her in the festivities...
Nothing bad with hanging out with your mates, just make sure you don't allready have plans with your girl first... Plan ahead...
But the reason you feel bad is probably because you love her and want to spend as much time with her as possiable...

You should NOT feel guilty at all.
When in a relationship, it's nice spending time with your other half, but it's also important to spend time with your friends or even yourself alone.
And trust me it's quite essential for many reasons.

You've no need to feel guilty - it's important to keep seeing your friends and make time for them too. If you're girlfriend doesn't like this, she may be insecure.

maybe you should have give her a bit more notice, how would you feel if it was the other way round, i dont mind my bf spending time with his friends but if he dumped me for the night on short notice, i wouldnt be happy, you could invite her along if you feel guilty

Oh your so sweet. dont feel guilty baby, you were right to have a break from her for a bit. but the only thing which i dont agree with is your lying to her. just be straight forward with her, ther is nothing wrong with wanting personal time.

Grow Up! You need separation from friends and loved ones from time to time to regroup your thoughts and feelings. One night away will not harm a thing.
