to respond to your first question. it really is particularly not likely that a electric powered difficulty made your motor blow. there is an finished record of complications that can make that ensue starting from poor maintance to a substantial difficulty contained in the motor. Secondly, the motor vehicle stalling should be the motor is undesirable or maybe some thing as minor as a plugged up gasoline filter out. So it really is hard to assert that this complications replaced right into a indication that your motor replaced into fixing to go out. As a procedures a a motor for this motor vehicle you're searching everywhere from a low fringe of $800 plus exertions for a motor popping out of a junk backyard without assure to about $1900 plus exertions for a good motor with a guaranty and all that good things. it is between the most expensive upkeep for a motor vehicle, i'm sorry to convey the undesirable information on tis area. Now i do not study about lemon guidelines in Utah, my maximum acceptable suggestion there is to look it up on the internet. yet mostly lemon guidelines shop on with to new autos, i'd be incorrect on that one. mostly used autos are bought "AS IS" and there is no assure and no criminal movements that should be taken. the in common words way you should extremely take any style of action, if it is the case, is in case you should educate that the broking knew that the motor vehicle had a nasty motor and nevertheless bought you the motor vehicle less than the pretense that there replaced into not some thing incorrect with the motor vehicle. yet like I suggested you'll opt to lookup the interior reach lemon guidelines for Utah. i wish this permits some.

Check for:
1. Low voltage at utility.
2. High resistance, neutral or hot legs.
3. Arcing between circuit breakers and panel bussing.
4. Have an electrical contractor do a Voltage/Amperage survey on your residence. This will identify power problems related to surges and/or lags. Both of which will increase your electric bill, and damage your electrical appliances and devices.

Is your TV plugged directly into the wall socket? If so, consider getting a power strip with a heavy-duty surge and spike protector and plug all your appliances (TV, VCR, DVD player, stereo, etc.) into that. The only other thing I can think of would be having the wiring in your place checked, and that'll cost you a bundle just to have someone come out and look. One other thing: If you notice that the power in your place seems to be running "low," turn off your TV and unplug your refrigerator until the problem is corrected. Running on low power can destroy refrigerators and TVs.

I would call a good electrician on this one . From what i gather you are losing your neutral in that circuit or in your whole house.Look at where you power company makes it connection it should be kind of clean but weathered,
Are you in an area with lots of bad weather when this happened, I think a power sugre protector might be you best solution, Call a Good Electrician cheaper that another TV

sounds like something isnt grounded. did you do the wiring yourself? if not have an electrican takea look. I had a satalite installed into my place and the guy didnt ground it. I dont know what he did but it was the 4th of July in the back of my TV. I have never seen so much sparks and smoke out of a TV. I was pissed new TV and cost $3000. he went good on it though. so the moral of the story is..ground your stuff

Grounding fault. Inspect it right away.
You could get a jolt or worse - fire.
If there is a fire, your insurance won't cover you because you were negiligent.
You can do it yourself by getting a meter that pinpoints the ground fault. Or, call a LICENCED electrician. Your insurance will cover you only if the work is done by a licenced person.

Power surges. Use a surge bar and the problem will be fixed. You can get a good one for under $10.
