Defnitely me. Does everyone realize the THOUSANDS of uses for hemp?? We wouldn't have to cut down entire rainforests to make paper - we could use hemp. We can even use hemp to make a substance that creates energy so we don't have to drill in the Arctic!
People had a cow with alcohol was made illegal. So, now it's legal again and our biggest problems are drunk drivers and domestic disputes, drunk fights, etc. Being drunk is completely different than being high. Marijuana does not ALTER your personality, it enhances it. Alcohol alters who you are, and causes all kinds of problems but IT is legal and marijuana isn't.
Also people complain about drug lords and stuff like that... guns being on the street because of drugs, etc. However, if marijuana was made legal, we wouldn't have this problem! People could go to the 711, buy a pack of joints and call it a day. No drug pushing, no guns, no shadiness involved.
Makes no sense to me, but as long as Georgie is in office, there's no point in even dreaming about it.

I would and I don't even smoke it anymore. They should make it so you have to be 18 years old to purchase it like cigarettes so the little ones don't get ahold of it. Alcohol and pain pills are more addicting than pot and they are legal. Legalizing pot would make a lot of people in better moods. Not to mention the food companies business would go way up.

if all drugs were legal at least people would be doing untainted drugs. Lets face it drugs are here to stay regardless of any efforts or energy put into opposing them. Consider that a woman can have an abortion, because it is her body and her right to do what shes want with her own body.... WHY DOESN'T THE SAME ARGUMENT HOLD TRUE FOR DRUGS???

Not me. Why would I want my kids to have access to a gateway drug like marijuana. Did you ever see Up in Smoke? Are these good role models?

Marijuana is no more and no less lethal than alcohol. If it fell under the same restraints as alcohol, I would be all for it's legalization.

Legalize them all. Freedom and all that jazz. But, increase the sentence of crimes committed under the influence of any drug by ten years, and that way people only get stoned at home.

oh yeah Maan, I can see it now. If pot heads weren't already stupid enough, making it so we have to see them out in public toking their bones. Smelling that crappy sickly sweet smell, yuck. I hate seeing drunks on the streets, and now I'd have to deal with the stoners??? No WAY.
Stupid dumb a$$ smelly potheads are worthless pieces of doggy doo.

I think the last thing we need in this country right now is to be an entire population of stoners.
Let us sort all this world **** first, then we'll see about pot.

Not I, then we'll have more potheads than we already do.
The logic for legalizing marijuana is flawed.
