It depends mostly on your preference. Glasses are easy and look really great on some people. With contacts you effectively look like anyone without contacts (until one looks closely at your eyes) but you have to worry about putting them on in the morning and taking them off at night. Also, with contacts your eyes are likely to dry out more often and irritate you. There are contacts out there that allow your eyes to breath better and reduces the occurrence of these things happening, and also to allow you to sleep in your contacts for up to a month, which is very convenient, but no eye doctor will recommend you do that.

Personally, I like contacts way better than glasses and I wear Night and Days for a month before I take them out and change to a new pair of contacts. It makes me feel like I do not have to correct my eyes at all, except when I sometimes get something in my eye and have to take the contacts out to clean them.

Depends on the person. With contacts you are taking a risk, because you are putting something in your eye, unlike glasses. Also, I'd be hesitant about them because of the recent infections caused by a particular lens solution.

Contacts, I used to wear glasses, but since my vision was poor, I couldn't see out of the corner of my eye - so i would always be turning my head, by the end of the day my neck would be so sore. However, I swear that the sun magnifies the contact on my eyes so I always wear sunglasses when it is sunny!

I love my contacts. I wear extended wear Oasis. Wear a week, clean, wear another week, throw away. Although my bf loves my glasses, I've worn contacts so long now that the glasses feel foreign (and like they hide my eyes.)

20/20 vision is better but if you have to choose between contacts or glasses, it really depends on the person. some poeple dont like sticking things in thier eyes.it doesnt bother me though and you can wear sun glasses(non-prescription) if you have contacts.

I prefer contacts because you don't have to worry about things like glass fogging up, hurting your nose (they hurt mine), glasses falling off. Once you get comfortable with contacts, they are like a blessing.

Contacts if you don't want others to see you wearing glasses. But it's kinda irritating.

Glasses if you don't like to be irritated by your contacts. But they DO break, unlike contacts..

I would say contacts because of the diversity you could have wearing any pair of sun glasses or goggles for swimming or for job safety that you wanted.

Glasses have low maintenance unless your degree is still unstable. For contacts, it depends if it's the disposable ones or not. For the normal ones, you still have to buy the cleansing soultion. For the disposable ones, you have to keep buying them.
