The Unites States often talks of justice and international law, they always demand things of the UN and of other countries to comply with the UNs resolutions etc. Why is it then that they do not apply these rules to themselves?
I wont bother listing the countless examples, but i shall give you one to look at as it is simple.

This is a resolution trying to get the U.S. to account for their actions of state funded terrorism against Nicaragua.

Well the US won't pay there fines because of the consequences of doing so. If the US paid there fines they would be admitting that they were at fault for their actions. Ever heard an American, let alone a politician say they were wrong?
If they admitted they were wrong the flood gates would open I'd say. The UN may seem as a trivial organisation, but it is only so because of the powers of veto, which America has excersised on all those occasations when there actions may be critisised by the international community, or a decision may result in diluting some of America's dominance.
Oh and any act of war committed by Israel.

Where is it written that any of these so called laws have any legal authority? The UN is a whiny little ***** who complains about America at every step.......until they need funding. Considering that we are the lions share of funding, their bitching is bitching. Why does the UN let Rwanda and Libya sit as chair on the human rights commission, but Isreal cannot sit anywhere?????
The UN is a joke. The world owes itself to the courage of America in tackling the threats of German facism, Japanese Imperialism, and Soviet Communism. If you cannot see that, then you might as well either heil hitler, commit suicide with your sword, or masterbate while looking at the body of Lenin.
Either that, or actually read history and talk to people who lived through those times.

Perhaps because the US is the chief provider of funding to the UN, without the US and its money, there would be no UN. So guess what, your question is meaningless. The UN is a joke of anorganization run by criminals and tyrants.

Even though you may think you are smart, maybe you dont know that this stuff was allready taken care of, but even if not who honestly would stand a chance against the USA and who would be brave enough to try even if they were better? I cant think of any and there are tons of countrys that hate the US.

Why should we pay fines? Heck, we already pay for over 30% of the UNs budget.
