The library or contact the paper you are interested in getting old articles from and they will some times send you those issues for a small charge like the cost of the paper and shipping. You can also try going on the Internet to the newspapers site and looking in the archive section. Not all sites have large archive section usually 6 month to a year back.

Call the local news office and ask to see the archives
if you have the date you want to look up it will be easy to locate
and you can even make a copy when you have found what you are looking for . Good hunting

your local paper should have a web site. Most of them do now. Check it out and go under archives.
Another way is to simply do a web search for the article you need and maybe another paper carried it.
When you find what you want. Book mark it.

All I do is log on to their website and there is usually an archive section where you can catch up on old news.
