While it is true that Hamas and Hezbollah kidnapped Israeli soldiers, Israel response by attacking not only the resistance groups but also by attacking cities and airports. Is Israel justified in its response? If so, why are they justified?
Second part:
The UN has been continuously blocked by the US from passing resolutions to condemn Israel and demand the Israel halt their attacks. While the US demands that North Korea halt their nuclear program they support another nuclear country who is pratically a power keg. Is the US allowing the conflict to spiral out of control? Explain.

You're right, Israel is justified to self defense, but every country is to. Hezbollah and Hamas (I disagree with your grouping of all Palestinians under one group) have killed Israel innocents, they have also been condemned by UN. Israel have done the same to Lebanonese and Palestinians while US blocks UN.
The potential for harm caused by North Korea is far greater than Hamasor Hezbollah. You make a good point that Muslim countries have continuously harrassed Israel but you cannot deny that Israel existance was created from the displacement of the Palestinians.
It has gotten outta hand. It is a terrible situation. Peace would be a great solution, but it is the quest for peace that is the problem.
For the record, AP reports:
"[Hezbollah] has since focused on charity work in the south and the eastern Bekaa Valley, operating schools, hospitals, dental clinics and rebuilding roads and houses destroyed in fighting in the south."
Hamas is another story.
