I watched Mary Poppins more times than I even care to count. It's so great. I love the Sound Of Music too and have also seen it many times. I love all the songs in it and even now I find something new in it every time I watch. All the politics and nazi stuff was lost on me as a child, and it seems like an even more incredible story each time. Gotta love Do a deer, a female deer, I sing it regularly! And Eidelweiss is one of the most beautiful songs ever.

Mine was the sound of music too! It still is actually, although I have room in my life for more movies now. It's a nice story, only slightly scary, good music and a happy ending. What else does a little girl want?!

Abbot and Costello's movie where Costello and some woman are ghosts haunting a Revolutionary War-era house because they died wrongfully accused of being traitors. I forget the name of it, but I loved it. I also loved Escape to Witch Mountain, Star Wars (the original), and (gasp) Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club Band. I also loved watching Green Berets with my Dad.
